AnySignal Validates Link-182 on SDN, Launches Pre-Orders for Cost-Effective Multi-Waveform Radio

Built on AnySignal’s software-defined radio platform, Link-182 is now available for pre-order as a low-cost, multi-waveform alternative to legacy tactical terminals.

LOS ANGELES, CA — July 7, 2026 — AnySignal today announced that its Link-182 radio, built on the company’s software-defined radio (SDR) platform, has demonstrated direct compatibility with SDN in full end-to-end operation. The radio is now available for pre-order as a low-cost, multi-waveform alternative to legacy tactical terminals.

“We built our RF platform for space, the hardest and least forgiving signal environment there is. Once you have made software-defined radio work in orbit, bringing it down to the tactical edge is not a new product, it is a migration path,” said John Malsbury, Founder and CEO of AnySignal.
